Bringing learning to life in Richmond’s Northside.

Imago Dei means “image of God.” Every one of us bears His image. This truth is central to our name and permeates everything we do at Imago Dei Neighborhood School. We are committed to bringing learning to life for students and families in Richmond’s Northside through first-rate academics, a safe and nurturing learning environment, and strong family partnerships.

LAUNCHING FALL 2021

Imago Dei Neighborhood School desires to open to students in Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade in Fall 2021. We will add one grade per year through 12th Grade.

Our Educational Approach

Imago Dei Neighborhood School will offer a gospel-centered, liberal arts education, rooted in the understanding that children are whole persons who uniquely reflect their Creator.

OUR MODEL

Our model is influenced by the work of educators like Marva Collins and Charlotte Mason.

An IMAGO DEI education will include:

+ A robust liberal arts curriculum to include diverse classical influences, a global view of history, and dynamic literature, art, and music

+ A cross-curricular approach that engages students in experiential learning, group discussion, narration, recitation, and nature study

+ The cultivation of wisdom and virtue in the whole child (body, mind, and soul)
